- Kępa Redłowska Nature Reserve
Founded in 1938, the Kępa Redłowska Nature Reserve spans an area of 120.08ha between Orłowo and Kamienna Góra. It is one of the oldest reserves in Poland and one of the most beautiful places along the coast of the Gdańsk Bay. The reserve is also one of the few places in Poland where one can observe natural geophysical processes which occur where the land meets the sea. The most characteristic element of its landscape is the active cliff in Orłowo. Reaching up to 60m in height, it is constantly being eroded by the Baltic waves, which take its lighter components away to sea, leaving heavy rocks and boulders on the shore.
